Making Art With Nature

Making Art With Nature

Making Art With Nature.

Lately in our classroom we have been collecting items from our garden such as stick, leaves and rocks and turning them into art for our classroom. Recently we collected a lot of different sized rocks and painted them in many different styles. Many children painted their rocks into rock pets (like animals). Others just painted them brightly and put them back into the garden. I came across this cute photo of someone who had turned their rocks into gorgeous strawberries.

  1. If the smaller pebbles are capable of strawberries, perhaps the larger stones could be watermelons, cantaloupes, and grapefruits?

    I like the strawberry idea.
